As a leading provider of ground investigation, specialist drilling, UXO survey. geo-environmental and Materials testing services, we recognise the important role we play in protecting the environment, supporting our people and operating with integrity. Through our One Igne approach, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact, delivering meaningful social value and maintaining strong governance across everything we do.
In 2025, we strengthened our ESG journey through the completion of our first Double Materiality Assessment, PAS 2080 accreditation, Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) approval, and continued alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
Our 2025 ESG Report
Our third Annual ESG Report provides a transparent, data-driven overview of our environmental, social and governance performance for the year ending 31 December 2025.
The report highlights the progress we have made in improving carbon efficiency, enhancing workforce wellbeing, strengthening governance and embedding sustainability throughout our operations. It also outlines our key priorities as we continue our journey towards Net Zero and responsible business growth.

Governance
Strong governance is fundamental to delivering sustainable business performance. Our ESG governance structure provides clear accountability from the Board through to operational delivery teams, ensuring ESG considerations are embedded into decision-making across the organisation.
In 2025, we:
- Completed our first Double Materiality Assessment to identify our most significant ESG impacts, risks and opportunities
- Retained ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification across the Group
- Strengthened ESG governance and reporting processes
- Maintained robust cyber security and GDPR training programmes
- Continued development towards group-wide Cyber Essentials and ISO 27001 accreditation objectives
- Reviewed and strengthened policies supporting responsible business conduct, ethics and compliance
