DTS has for over 50 years been one of the country's leading specialists in the investigation of ground conditions. Originally formed as an integral part of a major international building and civil engineering group to provide an in house testing and advisory service DTS expanded to provide this service to a wide range of external clients

DTS became an independent company in 1992 giving us the freedom to grow and develop new initiatives. We were able to relocate to new premises with modern facilities for the testing and analysis of all materials encountered in the building, civil engineering and environmental industries and build on our expertise in environmental auditing and appraisal, geotechnical investigations, soil and groundwater contamination and site remediation.

Following a purchase of the assets of the company by the Raeburn Group in October 2001, the company continues to trade as DTS Raeburn Limited

After a major reorganisation of the company in February 2003 the laboratory testing facilities were transferred to Terra Tek, a sister company within the Raeburn Group. DTS Raeburn now focuses on providing specialist consulting and geo-environmental services.
